For an international student, entering a country for educational purposes requires a specific visa. To begin the application process, you must first check with the student visa requirements from the Australian Home Office website under the category of student visa.
In addition to the results of English as second language recognition, you must also provide proof of sufficient funds to cover your tuition and living costs. For living costs, the student account must have at least AUS$20,290 deposit (approximately HK$110,000). Alternatively, parents must provide a total annual income of at least AUS$60,000* (HK$327,000) with their consent to support the child financially.
Moreover, all international students must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) after obtaining the student visa and must not enter Australia until OSHC become active.
